Artwork & production planning

Prepare the brand before production begins.

File quality, imprint method, color and placement all affect the final result. Review them as part of the product decision.

01 / Logo files

Use the strongest artwork available.

Vector and raster artwork need different checks. Vector files are preferred when the logo must scale cleanly or separate into production colors. High-resolution raster files may suit some full-color methods, but they should be reviewed at the intended imprint size.

  • Include an editable vector file when available.
  • Provide alternate horizontal or stacked arrangements if the imprint space is narrow.
  • Keep brand guidelines and approved color references with the brief.

02 / Color

Match the method to the expectation.

Pantone and CMYK color references support different production needs. Pantone references can help define spot colors; CMYK or digital reproduction can vary with the product and process.

03 / Method

Decoration follows the product surface.

Screen print and other decoration methods, including full color and engraving, have different imprint areas, color limits and setup requirements. Final feasibility is confirmed with the selected product and artwork.

04 / Proof

Approve placement before production.

Logo mockups and virtual proofs communicate position, approximate scale and production notes. They are reviewed alongside the quote and do not replace a physical sample when one is required.
